Celebrating Life: A Journey of Self-Care & Wellness
September 6th 2026
Honoring our July, August, and September Birthdays
At Infinity Dreamscapes, we believe that wellness is not a luxury—it is a necessary investment in the most valuable asset you own: yourself. Life moves quickly, but your health and spirit are irreplaceable. To honor the journey of our community, we are hosting a special celebration to remind ourselves that we must embrace our own worth and take that vital step toward long-term well-being.
Whether you were born in the stillness of January, the transition of February, or the awakening of March, this day is dedicated to your growth and your health.
Annual Quarterly Birthday Celebrations:
Celebrating Life: Why We Honor Quarterly Birthdays ?
At Infinity Dreamscapes, we believe that massage therapy is more than just physical relaxation—it is a celebration of the body and the spirit. This philosophy is deeply personal to our founder.
Following the tragic loss of two childhood cousins and the near loss of her aunt and uncle on her 21st birthday, our owner transformed a day of profound sorrow into a mission of light. For years, her family has honored these loved ones through advocacy with the New Mexico DWI Task Force in Santa Fe, NM, standing at the memorial site to prevent others from feeling this pain.
We choose to celebrate Quarterly Birthdays as a reminder that those we have lost would want us to thrive in love, laughter, and happiness. By gathering every three months to honor life’s journey, we turn "unprecedented loss" into "unprecedented love."

1. Physical Health & Medical Awareness
UV Safety Month
Skin cancer prevention and sun safety education.
Spearheaded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, this initiative focuses on educating the public about the dangers of ultraviolet (UV) radiation from both the sun and artificial tanning beds. Campaigns emphasize proactive habits like applying broad-spectrum sunscreen, utilizing protective clothing, and scheduling annual skin checks to mitigate the risk of melanoma and other skin cancers.
Sarcoma Awareness Month
Education and research advocacy for rare bone and soft tissue cancers.
Sarcomas are often dubbed "the forgotten cancers" because they are rare and highly diverse, developing in bones, muscles, fat, or vascular tissues. This month focuses on driving research funding, recognizing early warning signs (such as unexplained lumps or deep bone pain), and fostering community support for patients navigating complex treatment paths.
Juvenile Arthritis Awareness Month
Pediatric autoimmune and inflammatory conditions.
This observance aims to dispel the misconception that arthritis only affects older adults. It sheds light on Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) and related conditions that cause chronic joint pain, swelling, and mobility issues in children and teenagers. Outreach emphasizes early diagnosis to prevent permanent joint damage and ensure kids retain a high quality of life.
National Cleft & Craniofacial Awareness and Prevention Month
Craniofacial birth defects, acceptance, and treatment access.
Dedicated to families affected by cleft lip, cleft palate, and other craniofacial differences. The month focuses on public education, improving access to specialized multidisciplinary surgical care, and promoting social acceptance to counter the stigma often faced by individuals with visible differences.
2. Mental Health & Well-Being
National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month
Mental healthcare access and stigma reduction in marginalized communities.
Formally recognized as the Bebe Moore Campbell National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month, this initiative highlights the unique mental health challenges, systemic barriers, and cultural stigmas surrounding mental healthcare in racial and ethnic minority communities. It champions culturally competent care, public education, and improved systemic support.
International Self-Care Day (July 24) & Month
Preventative personal wellness and sustainable health practices.
While celebrated globally on July 24 (symbolizing 24 hours a day, 7 days a week), the theme extends throughout July to emphasize that self-care is a foundational pillar of lifelong health. It promotes practical, evidence-based wellness strategies—spanning stress management, physical recovery, mindfulness, and healthy boundaries—to prevent occupational burnout and chronic illness.
3. Advocacy, Civil Rights & Community
Disability Pride Month
Celebrating disability identity, culture, and statutory rights.
Marking the anniversary of the landmark Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) passed on July 26, 1990, this month honors the history, achievements, and resilience of the disability community. It challenges deficit-based cultural narratives, promotes universal design and accessibility, and advocates for full systemic inclusion across workplaces and communities.
Independent Retailer Month
Supporting local economies and small business ecosystems.
A campaign that highlights the economic and social importance of supporting independent, brick-and-mortar small businesses. It educates consumers on how purchasing locally keeps revenue circulating within the community, creates local jobs, and preserves the unique cultural fabric of towns and cities.
Give your body the focused, safe attention it deserves. Secure your session today through our secure online booking platform and step into a more balanced, revitalized version of yourself.

The Strength of the Numunuu: Honoring the Legacy of the Great Comanche Chiefs
The Comanche Nation, the Numunuu—"The People"—built a legacy of unmatched strength, strategic brilliance, and deep resilience. Under the leadership of legendary chiefs like Quanah Parker and Ten Bears, the Numunuu commanded the southern plains, drawing their power from a profound connection to the land and an unyielding spirit.
For the Comanche Nation, the official tribal holiday honoring leadership is Comanche Chief's Day, observed on Friday, July 17, 2026
Infinity Dreamscapes professional massage therapy honors this incredible endurance. Just as the great chiefs cultivated strength, vitality, and balance to lead their people, true modern wellness requires dedicated recovery for the body and mind. Our specialized clinical therapies are designed to relieve deep-seated tension, restore physical alignment, and fortify your inner resilience.
Step into a space of clinical excellence and quiet restoration. Whether you are seeking intense recovery from demanding physical work or a peaceful environment to realign your focus, our professional treatments support your enduring strength. Honor your body’s legacy and restore your foundation.
Mastery of the Southern Plains
The Comanche were legendary horsemen, creating an empire (often referred to by historians as Comancheria) that dominated vast territories across modern-day Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Kansas.
The Power of the Horse:
By mastering the horse faster and more completely than almost any other culture, Comanche leaders transformed their people into an mobile, unmatched tactical force.
Economic Diplomacy:
Chiefs weren't just warriors; they managed vast trade networks controlling resources, livestock, and safe-passage routes across the plains.
Leadership Through Evolution
As pressure from expansion grew, the role of a chief demanded intense mental resilience and adaptability. Two distinct styles of leadership emerged to protect the Numunuu legacy:
The Voice of Diplomacy:
Ten Bears (Parra-wa-semen)
Ten Bears used the power of perspective and unmatched oratory skill. At the Medicine Lodge Treaty of 1867, he gave an immortal speech advocating for the freedom of his people, capturing the essence of the Comanche spirit:
"My people have never first drawn a bow or fired a gun against the whites... Two years ago I came up upon this road, following the buffalo, that my wives and children might have their cheeks plump and their bodies warm. But the soldiers fired on us, and since that time there has been a noise like a thunderstorm and we have not known which way to go."
Chief Ten Bears (ca. 1790 – November 23, 1872)
A celebrated civil chief and orator of the Yamparika band. He was a passionate advocate for peace who famously spoke at the 1867 Medicine Lodge Treaty council, delivering an eloquent and moving defense of the Comanche way of life and their right to remain free on the southern plains.
The Path of Transition: Quanah Parker
The son of Comanche Chief Peta Nocona and captured pioneer woman Cynthia Ann Parker, Quanah excelled as a fierce warrior leader during the Red River War. However, recognizing when the physical fight could no longer be won, he made the strategic choice to walk in two worlds.
Political Brilliance:
Secured grazing rights and leases for Comanche lands from wealthy Texas cattlemen, ensuring a steady income for his people.
Cultural Preservation:
While adapting to a shifting economy, he steadfastly protected Comanche spiritual identity, helping to establish the Native American Church to keep traditional roots alive.
Chief Quanah Parker (ca. 1845 – February 23, 1911)
The last principal chief of the Comanche Nation. A brilliant military strategist during the Red River War, he later successfully guided his people through the difficult transition to reservation life, becoming a powerful political leader, wealthy rancher, and co-founder of the Native American Church.
The endurance of the Comanche Nation today is a direct reflection of these chiefs' ability to shield their people through conflict and guide them with strategy, proving that true strength lies in knowing when to stand firm and how to adapt to survive.
